Rock N Roll still rules as proven by so many of the big, retro concert halls and stadiums drawing thousands. The Rolling Stones, The Cure and Paul McCartney were among the shows this summer in Los Angeles and beyond.
And while the economy may be having a tough time, people are still willing to spend on entertainment, also including recorded entertainment. Numbers from 2017 indicated a resurgence in vinyl sales approaching nearly $1 billion.
While boomers seem to prefer spending their hard-earned dollars on experiences, the under-35s are buying up the vinyl. It’s not to say the over 45s are going on on a regular basis and the younger people are not staying home. Regardless there is economic activity driven by Rock N Roll.
